Y’all know how bad I am at baking, but with the help of my woman @dirtyhairbyd, these were p GOOD!! I halved the sugar from a normal brownie so these satisfied my asian taste buds. Recipe below:
Ingredients (modified recipe from @siftandsimmer)
1. Mix everything in the brownie batter (except the flour) until smooth. 2. Gently fold in the flour until just incorporated, then set aside. 3. Mix everything in the cheesecake filling, and set aside. 4. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line a 8x8 pan with parchment paper. 5. Gently add about 75% of your matcha brownie batter into the pan and smooth to an even layer. 6. Then add the cheesecake filling on TOP, be gentle to not mix it with the bottom too much. You want a solid-ish white layer. 7. Then add the rest of the brownie mix on top of the white and get a knife or chopstick to stir in some pretty swirls. 8. Bake for about 25-30 mins and check for doneness by piercing it with a knife. If it comes out dry without wet batter, it has baked through. 9. Cool and serve! Enjoy gf :)
